Nate Siehr

Chief Executive Officer · Co-Founder and Managing Principal, The Big Key Group and SLDG

Nate Siehr is Co-Founder and Managing Principal of The Big Key Group and SLDG, a Miami-based real estate development platform specializing in premium branded residences and condo-hotel projects.

Previously, he served as Vice President of Premium and Luxury Hotel Development at Marriott International, where he executed 82 hospitality deals representing $3.7B in development cost and $7.8B in future room revenues — primarily across the premium, luxury, lifestyle, and soft-brand segments of the company's portfolio.

Previously, Nate led Marriott's Global Transaction Accounting Policy group, worked as a Transaction Research Analyst at Duke Energy, and spent eight years with PwC's Private Company and Global Capital Markets advisory practices in Los Angeles, Charlotte, and Zurich, Switzerland — notably assisting General Motors through three years of its bankruptcy.

Nate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California. Originally from Wisconsin, he now lives in Miami Beach after relocating from Los Angeles in 2023.

John Cooper brings over 30 years of hospitality development experience, having led the creation of more than $2.5 billion in luxury hotels, resorts, and branded residences across the United States.

As Managing Principal of Pure Hospitality and Strategic Partner at SLDG, he oversees all aspects of project delivery, with past leadership roles at Noble Investment Group, Stormont Hospitality Group, Rockbridge, and Allen-Morris Stormont Hospitality shaping some of the industry's most distinctive hospitality assets.

His flagship deliveries include JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country (1,002 units, $605M), The Len at Lake Oconee (141 keys + 49 branded residences, $155M), Atara — Autograph Resort & Residences in St. George, UT, and Avalon in Alpharetta, GA (300 units, $112M).

As President of Construction, John leads SLDG's construction delivery across deal origination, brand negotiation, and project execution — bringing institutional experience to every decision the group makes.

Rodrigo Gana

Born in Santiago, Chile, Rodrigo began his professional career in the United States as the Managing Director of LATAM Cargo airlines in Miami. After 8 years at LATAM, he returned to Chile and began his real estate career.

For the next 13 years, Rodrigo helped grow one of the largest real estate companies in Chile, where he oversaw the entire development process from acquisitions to sales.

In 2015, Rodrigo returned to Miami where he took the helm as CEO of ALTA Developers, one of South Florida's most active real estate development companies. While at ALTA he led and executed multiple projects across South Florida, including EON Biscayne Bay, Neovita Doral, Flagler Village (Fort Lauderdale), Pacifica (Boynton Beach), and Le Parc Brickell.

After three successful years at ALTA, Rodrigo co-founded his own real estate companies, UBIICA and RETCO. He brings 15+ years of real estate development experience — his role is integral in all aspects of the company from acquisition to disposition of real estate assets.

As a principal at The Big Key Group and Chief Development Officer of SLDG, Rodrigo brings a track record of hands-on leadership, strategic vision, and deep investor relationships to the group's branded resort developments.
